Decarbonizing the transport sector is critical to countries looking to meet their clean energy goals. Electric vehicles (EVs) will continue to play important roles in decreasing carbon emissions across the transport sector.
Brought to you by the Clean Energy Ministerial’s Clean Energy Solutions Center (CESC) and Electric Vehicles Initiative (EVI), this webinar discussed the recent developments and outlook for EVs. Speakers from the International Energy Agency, the United Nations Climate Technology Centre and Network, and the United Nations Environment Programme examined the current state of EVs and the trajectory for future EV development before diving into case studies that further focused on developing countries’ national policies on e-mobility. This session ended with a Q&A with the audience.
