Policies and Plans

Integrated policies and plans are required to promote sustainable development in a manner that considers the needs and impacts of the energy, water and food sectors. These policies and plans provide a framework and supportive guidance to ensure the interests of each sector are met. Strong policies and plans help ensure adequate voice is given to each sector and that development is performed in a manner that supports sustainable resource use and addresses competing resource demands.
