Electricity and Thermal Energy

Electricity and thermal energy refers to power produced by fuel sources including solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, hydropower, marine power, fuel cells, fossil fuel and nuclear power. These resources affect the energy-water-food nexus through growing energy crops, the use of water for cooling towers, cleaning equipment and their demands for land to generate, transmit and distribute energy.
