Fuel Efficiency
Fuel efficiency refers to the energy efficiency of a particular vehicle model, usually measured in miles per gallon or kilometers per litre. Vehicle fuel efficiency depends on properties that include engine performance, weight, and driver behavior. This page presents technical resources that examine advanced vehicles, fuel economy, and idle reduction. See also fuel efficiency standards and alternative fuels and vehicles.
