RTA achieved ISO 50001 certification in 2013. Aligning with the UAE National Vision, RTA’s comprehensive corporate governance structure allowed for adoption of 71 energy conservation initiatives between 2013 and 2016 across RTA operations, which resulted in overall savings of around 12.2 million USD.
