Network-Driven Demand Side Management (Website)

Sources:

International Energy Agency

This task of the International Energy Agency is a broad, systematic examination of the potential for demand-side management (DSM) to provide cost-effective benefits for electricity networks. Investigators were charged to identify ways in which “network-driven” DSM could relieve some of the constraints on electricity distribution and/or transmission networks relating either to peak loads or to lines or substations in particular locations. The resulting reports of six subtasks are summarized on the main web page, with links to full reports based on 64 case studies.
