Energy Storage: A Key Net Zero Pathway in Canada

This report demonstrates the pivotal role energy storage resources will play in reducing greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions and securing Canada’s achievement of net-zero by 2035. The report estimates the potential installed capacity of energy storage necessary to achieve net-zero goals. As a secondary objective, this report also highlights the importance of removing barriers to the implementation of energy storage within each Canadian jurisdiction.
