Energy and Power Evaluation Program
Sources:
United States Argonne National Laboratory
The Energy and Power Evaluation Program (ENPEP-BALANCE) is a nonlinear equilibrium model that matches the demand for energy with available resources and technologies. It provides state-of-the-art capabilities for use in energy policy evaluation; energy pricing studies; assessments of energy efficiency and renewable resource potential; assessments of overall energy sector development strategies; and analysis of environmental burdens and greenhouse gas mitigation options.
