Cost of Renewable Energy Spreadsheet Tool (CREST)

This tool is an economic cash flow model designed to help U.S. public utility commissions and the renewable energy community assess projects, design cost-based incentives and evaluate the impact of tax incentives. Cost of Renewable Energy Spreadsheet Tool (CREST) is a suite of three analytic tools, for solar, wind and geothermal technologies. Although CREST was created to analyse U.S. markets, it may be possible to adjust CREST inputs so that the model can be used for analysis of international markets.
