CO2 Europipe

The European Commission’s goal of limiting the global average temperature increase to 2C (over historical values) requires halving global carbon dioxide emissions by 2050. To help achieve this goal, the CO2 Europipe project (a consortium of 19 public and private partners that is supported by the European Commission) aims to create Europe-wide infrastructure to transport and inject CO2 and focuses on transitioning smoothly from local, small-scale projects toward a broad-scale initiative.
