ASEAN Renewable Energy Guidelines

This webinar explored the background and functionalities of the ASEAN RE Guidelines, highlighted administrative procedures including requirements for project developers and/or investors, explors legal and regulatory provisions as well as necessary permits, identified country-specific challenges for project development, and provided information on how to obtain financial closure. The ASEAN RE Guidelines are comprehensive, easy to access and regularly updated online tools, which include complete information on ideal RE project development cycles in the respective countries. The guidelines were developed to facilitate increased private sector activity and investment in the RE sector of the ASEAN region and are designed to help project developers and potential investors promote transparency in RE projects.
