EQUALITY INITIATIVE AWARDS 2022: NOW OPEN FOR NOMINATIONS!
Do you know a woman in the energy sector who has made an exceptional contribution? Or an organisation that is leading by example with the actions it is taking to recruit, develop and retain women in the clean energy sector? Or maybe you would like to recognise and celebrate an emerging leader who is already making a significant contribution in the field of renewable energy? If so, now is the time to nominate them for an award!
The Equality in Energy Transitions Initiative (formerly C3E International) is now accepting submissions for its 2022 awards programme. For more information on the awards, and to submit a nomination, please click here. The deadline to submit is Wednesday, July 13th.
The awards will be presented at the 13th Clean Energy Ministerial (CEM13) meeting in Pittsburgh, United States in September 2022.
This is the third round of awards organised under Canada’s leadership and in partnership with Women in Renewable Energy (WiRE) Canada. It is an important opportunity to recognise those helping to close the gender gap in the energy sector, to provide role models that inspire women working in clean energy and to attract young women to the sector.
This year will have three categories of awards:
The Woman of Distinction Award which will recognise and celebrate a professional woman working in the energy sector who goes beyond business-as-usual. Read more
The Organizational Award which will recognise an organisation that has taken actions to recruit, develop, and retain women within the clean energy sector. This award is open to public, private, and non-profit organisations. Read more
