Inauguration of Innovation Showcase Pavilion (ISP)

An exhibition showcasing innovative products and services that can accelerate the global deployment of clean energy was a unique public feature of CEM4. The government of India hosted the Innovation Showcase Pavilion on 16–18 April 2013 in a venue alongside the Ministerial meeting.  The pavilion included 45 booths representing innovative and globally deployable products and services that tangibly demonstrate the advancement of clean energy technologies. 

The inauguration of the ISP took place on 16 April at 18:00 with ribbon cutting conducted by:

  • Elizabeth Dipuo Peters, Minister of Energy, South Africa

C3E Women in Clean Energy Event

The event featured VIP remarks from:

A short film on the C3E Initiative and its goals was screened, follow by a panel discussion on “Women and Clean Energy Innovation” moderated by Dr. Leena Srivastava with TERI and featuring four distinguished panelists:

Ministers’ Closed-Door Discussions (Clean Energy Supply)

Key accomplishments from the CEM initiatives were highlighted, and Ministers drew upon emerging lessons from the CEM initiatives and related activities as the basis for a discussion about smart policies, programs, and innovation strategies to advance clean energy supply. They also discussed the role of the CEM in supporting them and relevant progress or outcomes.

  • Accelerating the Global Adoption of Clean Vehicles
  • Power Market Evolution in Emerging Economies
